NORTH WEST PERSIA, CIRCA 1900

The ivory field with delicate leafy vine around a large cusped concentric indigo and dusty pink octafoil medallion with pendants containing similar motifs and pistachio-green waisted panels radiating from the central sea-green starburst flowerhead, the large linked shaded brick-red and light blue spandrels containing angular floral sprays, in an indigo turtle-palmette and angular flowering vine border between olive-green and ivory floral meander stripes, areas of very slight wear, negligible loss at one end, other end with restored guard stripe.
