WEST ANATOLIA, CIRCA 1890
The raspberry-red field with a Daghestan hexagonal lattice of angular hooked palmettes, in a light blue border of yellow triangular motifs enclosing trefoils between charcoal-black hexagonal panels and raspberry-red floral lozenge and minor strips, corroded black, localised slight wear.
