NORTH WEST PERSIA, CIRCA 1880

The ivory field scattered with small floral motifs around a large indigo shaped panel containing a cusped sandy yellow medallion with flowerheads, radiating palmettes and multiple angular pendants, the linked shaded light blue spandrels with small flowerheads around stylised red arabesque panels, in a shaded brick-red border of meandering tendrils overlaying delicate flowering vine between brick-red angular floral and ice-blue minor similar stripes, some wear, small areas of repiling, small repairs.
