The shaded tomato-red field scattered with small geometric panels, hooked panels and minor motifs around a central bold hooked ivory panel with similar motifs and birds flanking a large pale pistachio-green and tomato-red cruciform indented panel, an irregular octagonal large concentric hooked panel above and below, in an ivory border of polychrome meandering vine between shaded blue quartered lozenge and minor mill-pattem stripes, inner shaded green lozenge stripe, a short kilim strip at each end, upper end braided, slight corrosion of black, otherwise excellent condition 7ft.6in. x 5ft.4in. (228cm. x 163cm.)
