NORTH WEST PERSIA, CIRCA 1880

The ivory field with occasional angular floral sprays around a large shaded brick-red hexagonal medallion with pendants containing a large serrated ice-blue octafoil panel with palmettes radiating from the central rosette with shaded pink surround, the stepped and crenellated linked shaded dusty pink spandrels with angular floral motifs, in a shaded brick-red angular turtle palmette and flowering vine border between shaded ice-blue floral meander stripes, even wear, one quadrant with areas of repiling, slight loss at each end.
