E-27. Chinese Export, White and Blue, Canton, Pair of Herbal Bottles, Late 18th, Early 19th century 2 1/8" high, 1 3/4" base diameter. Fruit and leaves design which, along with their size, suggests they were used to contain herbs. Good condition, one small glaze void at base of one bottle.

Covered Compartmented Bowl

E-25. Chinese Export, White and Blue, Canton, Covered Compartmented Bowl, Late 18th, Early 19th century. 2" high, 5 4 1/4" diameter. This was probably some sort of condiment bowl. It is compartmented into three sections by a sort of pinwheel insert. On its base is a maker's chop, a raised five-petaled flowerhead. Fine condition.
